As an entrepreneur, i am sure that you have heard the saying “sales is a numbers game”
The more people we contact the more chances we have to make a sale.
Doesn’t seem like rocket science, does it?
The more people we contact the better chance we have of making a sale.
Works pretty much everywhere.
Not just in sales.
It works in life.
The same with finding a date or getting a job.
The more people you talk to the greater chance you have of being successful.
Sitting at home, pretending to be a wallflower and wishing, hoping and praying that god/the universe/the source will cause someone to stop by will not get you what you want.
You have to be willing to show up and make yourself obvious.
The Law of Large Numbers simply tells us that, whatever we want, in business and in life, we have to be willing to get in touch with people who will lead us to what we want.
It may be someone you meet who knows someone who will want to buy your product, has a job opening, or perhaps knows a single friend.
You never know who knows who, so the more people that you encounter, the greater your chance of finding what you want.
All of the most incredibly successful people that i know have learned to apply the law of large numbers to help them.
Remember that someone out there wants to buy your product, use your services or has a job opening.
The challenge is to find them.
One of the ways is to get out there and start meeting people.
The more people you get in touch with the greater your chances of finding what you need.
I have a client who has grown his business to $9 million.
Earlier in the week he told me that he was no longer concerned that he would hit his sales targets because he had mastered the number ONE rule of successful people everywhere.
Whats that rule?
Contact ten people everyday and tell them what you are doing.
If you commit to doing this, success will be certain.
If you contact ten people five days a week you will have talked to fifty people in a week about what you are doing.
Multiply that by four and you have two hundred people who now know about your business/product/service, what you are looking for in a month..
In a year, you will have talked to 2400 people who now know what you are looking for. And who knows who they know.
So my challenge to you is this : Who can you let know about your business/product/service/need today?
